CAN AD LAN POLITICS. (Australian Press Association & Sun.) (Received this day at 11.0 urn.) “ OTTAWA, -March 11. After an eighteen day debate the Budget was carried by a Government majority of 24, a Conservative amendment “regretting the measures proposed, do not tend to provide increased employment and do not induce the return of Canadians nor prevent the wntinuod emigration ol Canadians to United States and fail to make provision for preservation of domestic markets for Canadian farm and dairy products.” And the Progressive subamendment “regretting inadequate customs revisions effecting relict to consumers,” were defeated. OTTAWA, March 14. The Budget was passed by 110 votes to 92. The Progressive sub-nmend-m.ent and Conservative amendment were defeated after an acrimonious debate. The Sergeant at Arms was called by Iho Speaker to quell the noise and booing of Conservatives after a ruling of the chair had been challenged bv Bennett (Tory Leader) and had lieen upheld.
