The reading at 9 a.m. to-day was 30.18 —little movement. The reading at 9 a.m. yesterday was 30.10 —rising. The reading on the dial printed below was taken at 12 noon to-day.
UNION COMPANY’S LINE. The Kainpoi is due at Grey mouth this morning from Wellington to load timber for Sydney and Brisbane, via Westport. The Kainonn is due at (Weymouth almut Friday from Auckland and after discharging inward cargo loads ■ coal for the same port and Dargavillc. The Kaimai leaves Groyinouth today for Miramar and Wellington, coal and timber laden. The Kaituna is due at (Weymouth early next Week from Wellington to Toad coal for the same port and Napier.
