SWIMMER FAILS. (Australian it N.Z. Cablo Association.) GIBRALTAR, March 11. Gleitz started at noon from Tarifa to swim the Straits of Gibraltar. GIBRALTAR, March 12. Miss Glcit/.e gave up exhausted MV miles from the African Coast, after swimming for 405 minutes. '1 he water was choppy in the latter stages.
