The London County Council elections first result was from twentyfour Boroughs and the City of London shows gains and losses respectively as follows:—Municipal Reform 2—(i, Labour B—4, Liberal 3—5, making the position of the parties in the new council at present:—Municipal Reform 58, Labour 31, Liberal 5, compared with the old Council—-Alunieipal Reform 84, Labour 31, Liberal 6. The general impression is that the Liberal attempt to regain its former position has failed. The women candidates fared badly. Fourteen are thus far elected, and 44 rejected, cent ol 05. Air Ramsay MacDonald’s daughter. Tshbel, was successful at South Poplar. (Received this day at 9.30 a.m). LONDON. Alnreli 9.
