The reading at 9 a.m. to-day was 30.1 — no movement. The reading at 9 a.m. yesterday was 30.2—little movement. The reading on the dial printed below was taken nt 12 noon to-day.
UNION COMPANY’S LINE.
The Kaituna, Kanna, Kaitangata and Pooltn are all bar bound at Greymouth, waiting an improvement in the conditions of the bar before sailing for their various destinations. The Kaiapoi is due at Gre.vniouth about the beginning of the week from Auckland via Wellignton and after discharging inward cargo loads coal lor Auckland. The Kainini leaves Wellington to-day, arriving at Greymouth on Sunday to load timber for Miramar, also coal, timber and general cargo for Wellington.
