COMMITTED FOR SENTENCE. W.-UFCKERAU. March 7. John Rnvoe Hampstead. a Maori voutli. aged 17. forinorly of M'erearon Industrial Farm, was committed to the Supreme Court. Napier, for sentence, after pleading guilty to forging tin name of Geo. Jamieson, bis employer, for a cheque of til'd and uttering tin same to Mrs Carpenter for payment «t goods valued at £’ 10s 'id. He received the balance which he expended variously. He pleaded guilty also to theft of one pound from Jamieson.
