Downie Stewart to his question in the House and alleges Mr AleLeod in conversation agreed therewith, thus establishing Ransom’s argument that this proposal was declined as it would he too popular. He challenges the Minister to meet him on the public platform anywhere, provided lie gives him a week’s notice. THE .MISSING LAUNCH. GISBORNE, March 1.
