Definite evidence of Soviet intrigue in India is furnished in a statement at the Indian Railway federation meeting, that a large sum was donated from Moscow to finance the recent Bengal-Magpur railway strike, when 15.000 workers were involved. The money was sent to Calcutta via the Deutsche Bank of Berlin and National City Bank, New York, hut on unauthorised instructions by a Railwayman's Union official, the money was refunded, and Moscow was asked to he more careful in sending it in THE CORNWALL CRIME.
