EVERYBODYS PICTURES. “AN AFFAIR OF THE FOLLIES.” WEDNESDAY. Ihree big stars will bo featured in tbe ucw First National Special, “An AHair of the Follies ”: Lewis Stone, Billie Dove, and Lloyd Hughes. Since becoming a proniinot featured player for First National, Hughes has appeared in important roles in many big pictures, including “The Sea Hawk,” and "Tbe Lost World.” He is now under long-term contract with First National Pictures, his most recent pictures under that banner being “Forever Alter,” and “ Ladies at Play.” Hughes is athletic and handsome; M. Andre de Bourget, noted French artist and sculptor, recently said that he was “the most typical and most handsome young American man.” Ho is six feet in height, weighs one hundred and sixty pounds, and has brown hair and blue eyes. His favourite sports are handball and boxing. New York City—the “ big town ” in its most human, most intimate mood. Lovely women, beautiful clothes, realistic setting and many phases of life,arc condensed into one tensely dramatic, vivid plot. Characters so human that the spectator may find their counterparts among his friends. These qualities make “ ( An Affair of the Follies,” now at the Princess 'iTieatre a picture offering a treat. Billie Hive, Lloyd Hughes and Lewis Stone are featured. A Topical, Scenic and Comedy will also be shown. On Friday next the great drama of tlio turf, “ Down the Stretch ” will bo the big attraction. Coming Wednesday, March 7th—the much discussed picture “ Damaged Goods.”
