(By Telegraph—-Per Press Association.) GREY THIRD LN TEST CHRISTCHURCH. Feb. 21. At the Band Contest the A. Grade final was decided to-night. In announcing the results, the judge Mr U. Jackson, commented oil the very difficult nature of the test .-election, which was. in his opinion, unfair to brass baud players. Greyinouth Band’s performance tonight, considering its youth, was phenomenal. The Judge remarked that he was amazed tit the leading band’s rendition, considering the test was only for real capable players. Conductor Mi-Masters was accorded a great ovation.
