It is reported from Washington that despite the Lafolletto resolution against third term Presidencies, a decision lias been made to nominate President Coolidge at the Republican National Convention. It is reported many delegates will he sent without instructions, which amounts to a discreet Coolidge boom. There was a secret meeting of Republican Senators and party leaders at Washington this week. This is understood to ho a sure indication of Mr Coolidgc’s nomination. NEW ZEALAND BOWLERS. VANCOUVER, Feh. 24. The New Zealand howlers who were expected here early in May will no; arrive till September. They will travel from England to New York, thence to Quebec and Ontario for a tour of Canada, under the auspices of the Dominion Lawn Bowling Association. Before playing at, Winnipeg they will visit- Detroit, Chicago and St. Paul.
