Smith Cup was sailed at Stewart Island, the course being over a distance of about six miles. A most exciting race resulted in a win for the Wellesley, (manned by the Otago crew) who heat, the Eileen, skipped by J. Patrick (Auckland) by a very narrow margin. All the crews have returned to Invercargill and leave for the North to-morrow morning.
