At the monthly meeting of the New Zealand Dairy Produce Hoard to-day. the Secretary reported that it was hoped to finally close the second butter pool and the cheese pool during March, The following further payments were available : Second Puller Pool.—Approximately €50.000 available—equal to .l.Tld per lb, bringing the final pay-out to: Finest, Is ;b1277d, lirst grade. Is 2.-15)277d, second. Is I ,!)277d. f.0.h.. out of which the factories have paid the levy. Cheese Pool.—Approximately €70,000 available—erpial to .ltlSd per lb, bringing the final pay-out on an f.o.h. basis to finest 7.8-10 d per lb for first ; 7.5f)9d for second, and 7.2lb’d on nett weights, allowing for 2.75 per cent, shrinkage, out of which the factories have paid the levy. The f.o.h. prices for cheese are the average prices to the iuuiviilunl factories. There will oe a slight variation owing to the variation In the shrinkage.
