The jury acquitted Heaton civile Burgess at the Supreme Court to-day, on a charge of using an instrument, with intent to procure a miscarriage. The jury disagreed after four Hours retirement on a charge of false pretences against John Howard A ibi on Tapp, and a fresh trial at the next session was ordered.
