LATE LORD OXFORD
i (Australian & X.Z. Cable Association.) A CAST TRIBUTE. (Received this day at 10.15 a.m.) , I.OXDOX, Keb. 21. Tlie Duke of York, representing the Kino, and Lord Halsey, representing the Prince of Wales, with other officers and Prince Arthur Connaught, also Peers, Members of Cabinet, Statesmen, Ambassadors, High Commissioners and other Imperial representatives paid a last tribute to Karl Oxford at Westminster Abbey service. Lady Oxford, Princess Bibesco and other members of the family were in deepest black. The altar steps were wreathed in flowers and scarlet lupins blazed above the altar. The Archbishop of Canterbury and Dean of Westminster officiated. Prayers and hymns were impressively followed, the nation farewelling the dead statesman with a final Amen.
