Tn connection with the celebration of the Greymouth Jubilee. Tuesday and Wednesday of next week will be declared public holidays in Hokitika. Recent visitors to Cook’s Flat state that at Weheka building operations there are resulting in several new houses being provided, while Messrs Sullivan Bros are erecting a large accommodation house on the track to the Fox Glacier, which will be ready for next season. The building will consist of upwards of one hundred rooms, and when ready it is sure, to make the attractions of the Fox Glacier region more pronounced with the holiday moving public.
