RIFLE SHOOTING.
(By Telegraph—Per Press Association.) GREYTOWN, Eeh. 22. The shooting was resumed on the Papawni Range this morning in good light. The wind chopped round to westerly, hut was very light, causing no trouble. In the first match, Victoria 800 produced good shooting between L. C. and C. E. Scgvcrston. of the Ararura Club. The former secured the possble and his brother rang on nine hulls and then clean missed. C. J. Nix (Tauherenikau), CL Forge (N.S.WL) both secured possibles. The Australian shooters are still doing well and have five representatives in the pri/.c money. Details are:—Cl. L. S. Sigverston (Tarnrun) 50: C 4, C. J. Nix ( Featliorston), 50; Cl, G. Forge (N.S.WL) 50; £2, H. Boon (Karon! 49; £2, L. Save (Suburbs) 49; Cl, H. CL Trottmnn 49; £l, Cnpt. Simmonds iWanganui) 49; Cl, A. K. Johnstone •N.S.WL) 18. Three others are on 48. live at 40 being counted out.
