METEOROLOGICAL.

The reading at 9 a.m. to-day was 30.2(5—n0 movement. Tho rending at 9 a.m. yesterday was 30.32 —no movement. The reading on the dial printed below was taken at 12 noon to-day.

UNION COMPANY’S LINE. The Kaiapoi and Kaituna are su bar bound at Greymouth owing to the shoaling of the bar, sailing lor Wellington and Auckland respectively, when conditions improve. The Kairnai is due at Greymouth early to-morrow morning from Wellington to load coal for .Miramar and Wellington. The Kittawa leaves Greymouth tonight, coal laden, for New Plymouth, with timber for Miramar, also timber and general cargo for Wellington. The Knitangata is due at Greymouth on Wednesday from Auckland to load coal for the same port, completing at Westport. The Poolta is ducat Greymouth next Saturday from Lyttelton to load timber for Miramar and Wellington.
