The motor trade of the Dominion ex- '■ I'erieuced a lean year in 1927, and I the sum of £2.055, 556 sent out of tlie country for motor cars, chassis and II commercial vehicles was the lowest t since 1922 and £1.617,657 below the e value of imports in 1926. Tlie record s year was 1925 when motor imports were S more than double the aggregate for s last year. Three substantial product ing countries, the United Stales, Great t Britain and Canada have all shared l ' in the decrease, but the falling off * was least in tlie ease of the English '■ vehicle.
