KRANZ TRIAL. AOCUS ED COJ .LAPSES. (Australian ct N.Z. Cable Association.) BERLIN, Eeh. 1.5. The final sensation of the Kranz trial is that the boy lias broken down, and was sent to hospital under a doctor’s orders. The trial is indefinitely postponed. Accusel's pose of indifference completely disappeared when the murder charge was withdrawn, and he is now in a state of complete nervous collapse. geh max budget. BERLIN', Eeh. Id. The Coalition censed to exist after a meeting, a which it was mutually decided that an agreement on the points outlined was impossible. The next development is uncertain. In view of the extreme desirableness of passing the Budget, it is expected that President Himlenhurg will acquiesce in the decision. He has already expressed liis willingness to arrange for an election in May. From an international standpoint, it is regarded as unfortunate that a domestic quarrel now divides Herr Marx and Herr Stresemann. who admirably collaborated on a policy of reconciliation. but although the Coalition is declared to be dead, Cabinet is busily drafting a programme which may delay its funeral for a month or two. The Peoples’ Party indeed protests that the Edueaton Bill was not the sole reason for the formation of the Coalition, consequently disbandment is unjustified. The Party proceeds to blame the Catholic Centre Party, whose “exaggerated demands for denominational education would undermine the State’s authority over the schools.” While the .situation is delicate, it is considered possible that a general election may not occur before May.
