CYCLING.
(By Telegraph—Per Press Association.) AUSTRALIAN VISITORS ACCIDENT CHRISTCHURCH, Feb. 11. The champion Australian cyclists, Stamlen and Gray, bad the misfortune to meet with an accident at the first practice on the English Park track. The two visitors were riding with the local riders, T. Grose and W. Alackie, and Standen was in the lead, setting a last pace, with Alackie second. Grose third and Gray fourth. The pedal of Standee's machine struck the asphalt, and be fell, being badly skinned on tlie legs. Alackie left over Standen. but escaped with light scratches. Grose, in avoiding the fallen men, rode into the fence and was injured so badly that be went to hospital. His condition is reported as serious. Gray 1011, but was not burl badly. Gray and Standen may be able to ride at the sports to-morrow.
