From Pensions Department, Wellington, in roiei'ence to pension certificate.—Received. From Westport Hoard proposing conference on Coast Boards during Grey Jubilee week.—Received. From Secretary. Grey Board, stating conference would lie held 011 25th inst. —Received. From Ross and Kumara Borough Councils forwarding levy.—Received. Bruce, applying for annual leave.—Received and request granted from 25th inst. The next meetings of the Board were fixed for 19th March, 4th and 23rd April. Front South Westland nurse, enclosing for January a nil return.—Received. REPORTS. Front Surgeon-Superintendent reporting patients in the hospital on Jan. Ist totalled 26 males. 15 females—4l. Admitted during January, 20 males 18 females—3B. Total treated 46 males. 33 females—79. Discharged cured. 19 males. 13 females; relieved. 1 male, 1 female; died. 1 male. 5 females; total discharged, 21 males. 19 females. Remaining in hospital on 31st January. 27 males, 12 females—--39. In hospital for over two months 10 males, 5 females—ls.— Received. The House Committee (per Mr Davidson. chairman) reported conditions at the hospital were very satisfactory; that two nurses would l>e resigning their positions shortly and that tlnee

new probationers be appointed as desired by tlie Matron.—Received. Accounts amounting to £'sll Is 8d were passed tor payment. The Treasurer reported receipts £B3l 12s 9d; payments £B7l 7s 4d; credit balaueo £363 Os Id. All levies were now paid except 3s 7d interest on levy due by Koss Borough Council and this item was tagged last year by the Audit Department.—Received. The meeting closed at 8.45 p.m.
