ADOINCTON STOCK SALES.

Messrs H. Mat-son and Coy. submit the following report concerning this week's sale at the Metropolitan Alarket:
Store sheep—Lambs comprised a smaller entry, and ‘were easier by Is, dosing firm. Three-quarter lin'd realised from £1 to 22 1 (id, medium 19s to 19s Hid, inferior 13s to IGs, shorn 17s to 18s. ewe lambs 22s to 23s 10U1, others 13s to 18s (3d.
Adult sheep—The market was liruler The North Island and the Chathams were represented. Four-tooth ewes brought 32s and 34s Gd. 4, G and 8-tooth ewes 20s to 275, 2-tooth and throe-quarter bred ewes 28s to 28s Gd. broken and late shorn 15s to 19s. rape owes 9s to 14s, half-hreil 2-tooth 20s and 225. others 15s lOd to 19s, wethers 2()s to 25s lid. others 15s lOd and 19s.
Store cattle—A smaller yarding. Competition was good Two and three year steers brought £7 18s Gd to £8 18s Gd, medium £G Gs to £7 Gs, best cows £3 and £4 3s, medium 30s to £2 18s, hulls £4 10s to £l2 15s. Fat cattle—A total yarding of 458. mostly medium and light cows. Heavy steers made £ls and £IG 17s Gd. medium £l3 10s to £l4 15s, light £ll and £l2 10s. Cows—Rest realised £8 and £ll 17s Gd. others £4 to £7 10s.
Fat lambs—A yarding of 450. with a good sale throughout, exporters operating freely. Heavy brought 31s to 32s 7d. prime 28s 4<l to 80s lOd medium 25s 7d and 27s lOd, light 24s to 25s 4d.
Fat sheep—A smaller yarding. Competition varied from Is to Is Gd. lower. Extra prime wethers realised 31s 4d, prime 29s Id to 31s Gd. light 245: ewes—best to 28s 3d. medium 15s Gd to 235. others to 12s Gd.
Pigs—There was a large entry with a fair demand in pork and 'bacon Prices slightly easier on late rates. Choppers made £2 to £4 lGs. light bacon £2 10s to £3. medium £3 3s. heavy to £2 13s. average per lb. 5d to 51cl. Light porkers 3(!s to 38s, heavy 40s to 17s, average Gd to 6|.
Store pigs—A large yarding, with a dragging sale. AVcancrs were hard to quote. Small weaners 6s to 8 s Gd. good 9s and 13s Gd, small stores 14s and 17s Gd. medium 18s to 235. large 25s and 29s Gd.
