A BUSY BUSINESS MAN’S HOLIDAY
THE TOURIST’S IDEAL. (Lyttelton Times, Feb. Bth.) When Air Ted Armstrong and family put the cares of business in storage, they never expected the glorious holiday that could be condensed in such ideal circumstances and surroundings. Taking train to' Otirn, tlifcy "cut by their car to Hokitika and on to Franz Josef Glacier and to Lake Knnieri, which is well stocked with small salmon; they then crossed to the Dorothy Falls. This least of scenery has only to be seen to he retained for ever in one’s memory. Returning to Hokitika and Greymouth they went through the Buller Gorge to Westport, on to Murchison and Nelson, thence to I’i'. ton, and from there journeyed home- -making ten days’ holiday replete witli enjoyment—catching of blue cod by the hundreds at Pieton, gorgeous scenery, hospitality and pleasure all along the line, as Die AYc.st Coaster seems to exude hospitality nnboundicd Air Armstrong thinks the Tourist Depntrment should make wide publicity of the scenic beauties and ease of accessibility of these coastal points.
