From Conrad Hopkinson. Hawea Flat, reporting on culling 493 head ot deer in Hnast region, the tally being certified to by Constable Brooks, ol Pembroke.—Received. A total up to 800 was approved lor the period ending this mouth., the estimated cost of which will lie £IOO.

From George Cooper. AAellington, enquiring as to facilities lor reaching Okuru.—Received and supplied. From various in regard to deer stalking season.— Received and left to Secretary to deal with. GKNERAL.

Accounts amounting to £72 9s were passed for payment. It was decided to place £2OO on fixed deposit. It was reported fishing licenses issued would total about irt. of a value exceeding £SO, being an increase of £ls on last year. U was decided the deputation to the Hon. Minister next week urge also the starting of Ruatapu-Aialiinapua road. It- was resolved to ask the Hatchery Committee for a report as to the building .and as to repairs required for next season. It was decided to point out to the Tourist Department the necessity ot a shelter on Dorothy road, and to ask £ for £ assistance in erecting same in a site to be approved adjacent to the Tuliua track. The Executive was asked to report as to cost of the work, and also for widening or improving with turnouts, the short stretch of road leading to the commencement of the Dorothy road. The matter of the expenditure on these other works will he considered at next meeting. A general discussion took place on various matters and the meeting closed at 9 p.m.
