WINGS OF THE STORM ” -TO-NIGHT.
Have you ever thought much about < lOgS? Jf .vou haven't you will, uncloubtedlv, after seeing the vital, powerful performance of Thunder, the beautiful police dog star, in Fox Films version of “ Wings of the Storm,” to he shown this evening at the Princess I l icntre. Thunder delineates a dog’s reaction to various phases of life which carries him through from fear, cowardice. iuleriority, to the full flower and strength of doghood, a leader among his kind and loyal to those who care for him—a truly amazing study, splendidly directed by d. G. Blvsione. The dog is the oldest Iriend mail has among the animals—very much the oldest and Thunder depicts just how loyal such friendship really is. Probably no one shall ever know when the friendship between man and dog began, hut the hones of dogs lying side by side with those of primitive men tend to show that it was in very, very remote times. Police dogs, such as Thunder, are n much newer breed than many of the he- 1 known varieties. They came into unusual prominence during the World War, because of their activities with Red Cross units and on the battlefields. Thunder is a handsome and most, attractive representative of the police dog—a type that more nearly approximates, than any other, the wolf species. A comedy ami topical will also lie shown.
