(By Telegraph—Per Press Association.) G REYCLI FEE IXQUEST. SYDNEY, Jan. 28. The Greycliffe inquest continues. Tho Coroner adversely criticised the Union Coy. for allowing the Tahiti to proceed to sett so soon after the collision.

Hughes (manager) said the Coy. was subject to a penalty if the Tahiti was late in leaving for New Zealand with American mails. The Tahiti was not damaged. Nothing further in the tvav of rescue work could have been done. Site had two hundred passengers aboard and there was nothing to prevent her proceeding on the voyage.

The Coroner said there were many people on board the Tahiti who might have given material evidence. \\ bile the police were busily occupied saving lives and recovering bodies, the Tahiti left the harbour without giving the police a reasonable chance to interview those who might have proved material witnesses in the interests ofi justice.
