The amended programme for the tour of the Australian team through New Zealand lias been arranged as follows Versus Nelson at Nelson, Fobrurnr.v loth and ltith; Wellington ut Wellington, February 17th. 18t!),. 20th; North Otago at Oamaru, February 22nd. 23rd; Otago at Dunedin, February 21th, 25th, 2itJi; Southland at Invercargill, February 28th. of)th : Canterbury at Christchurch, March 2nd. 3rd. nth: Waikato at Hamilton, March 7th, Bth; Auckland at Auckland, March fftli, 10th I2tli; Taranaki at New Plymouth, March 14th. loth; Wanganui at Wanganui, March 16th, 17th; Poverty Bay at Gisborne. March 20th. 2lst. The first test takes place at Auckland on March 2-Rh. 2Gth. 27th. and the second test at Dunedin on March 31st and April 2nd and 3rd.
XZ COUNCIL TO PAY EXPENSES. WELLINGTON. Jan. 24. Tbo New Zealand Cricket Council has agreed to pay the following expenses in connection with tbo forthcoming visit of the Australia team: Hotel board, laundry, tips, carnage of lux-rage, and hotel and travelling expenses of New Zealand players engaged in the tests.
