N.Z. TOURNAMENT. CONCLUDING MATCHES. (Hy Telegraph—Per Press Association.) CHRISTCHURCH, Jan. 21. Tit bowling tournament was concluded last evening, the weather being perfect.

Five games in the .singles championship remained to he played, and those resulted as under:

Eleventh round: Auckland (C. Mustou) 21, Tcmukii (T Edwards) 12. Twelfth round: Carlton (11. Clarke) 21, Teniuka (T. Edwards) 18. Semifinal: Carlton (Clarke) 20, Rallnacowan (T. Ferguson) 13; Caledonian (J. Scott) 22, Auckland (V. Muston) 8.

Final: Caledonian (Scott) 19, Carlton (Clarke) 14. Scott obtained seven on the first three heads. Clarke not scoring till the fourth, when he obtained a pair. A single to Scott and three singles to Clarke, was the result of the four following heads. A pair each was recorded in favour of each, and then Scott brought the score to 11—8. A single then went down to each-, hut a pair and a single saw Scott leading 15—9 on the fifteenth head. He got a pair and a single on the next two, hut four to Clarke made the board read 18—13. The last two heads resulted in a single apiece, the game going to Sc-ott 19—14. The general run oFplay was in Scott’s favour.
