Ii is Imped that it will he. installed in the lower of the university early in March, or at any

rate, that the inauguration ceremony can he held on Anzar Day. As in the case of live Wellington carillon, the Sydney carillon will comprise a lir-t instalment of lb hells, leaving lour additional and larger bells to be added later. I lie Wellington hells, however, will he much heavier than the corresponding hells ot Sydney. The big hell ol the first instalment ot 49 at Sydney, lor instance, will weigh 4 tons 3 owt. while that in the Wellington set will weigh 5 tons. Similarly in the 53 Ml set when completed. the big bell at Sydney will weigh 9 tons, while that at Wellington will weigh 10 tons. The Wellington carillon, which will be a sister of Hint in the Tower oT Victory, Parliament Buildings, Ottawa, should arrive ready for erection about the middle of- next year.
