N.Z. TOURNAMENT. (By Telegraph—Per Press Association.) CHRISTCHURCH, dan. 20. The Ixiwling tournament was continued to-day in beautiful weather. The film I was reached in the pairs and rinks, and the following were left in the singles: Edwards (Tenuika) two lives, M usfon (Auckland) one life, Clarke (Carlton) one life. The final of the pairs was contested by Maitai, (I). Dimpliy and (L Logan) and Hataitai (J. Kershaw and .1). Fielding). Logan scored a single on tile first head, but the next two went to "D. Fielding. With singles on each, Logan drew away, and on the tenth was leading 9-3. Fielding reduced the score by three on the next hut Logan countered with four. Two went to 1). Fielding on the next, hut on the eighteenth the score was 19-9 in Logan’s favour. He scored on the remaining heads and ran out winner by 26-9. In the rinks final, Caledonian (F. Kettle. V. l.angley, D. Hutchison. W. Foster) 17 beat Tenuika. (d. Gourley, I. .Hunt. W. McCallum. T. Edwards) Id. Foster was one up on the fourth, hut Edwards scored singles on the next two. but did not score on the seventh or eight'!. The ninth gave him four. With three bends to go. Tenuika were two up on the 19th. 1 oxter scored four and took the lead, which ho maintained, running out winner by 19-17). in a game which was marked by good bowling and the number of heads burnt.
