Alinehan with respect to his lease over above Reserve which expires on 31st December. The Chairman said the renewal had been granted and the rental bad been fixed at £4B. to which Air ,ii Indian had objected. Members of the Board lmd visited the area the previous day and -Mr Chinn moved that the rental he reduced to £4.0. Seconded by Air Ryall.

The conservator of Forests applied for approval of proposals for expenditure of amounts due to the Grey and Westland County Councils for quarter ended 31st December, 1027.—Approved. The Commissioner placed before the Hoard the schedule of pastoral runs which expire on 28th February. 1029 and 1030, setting out the respective areas of Crown Land and State Forest Reserves comprised therein. —Approved. It was resolved that the next meeting he held on Tuesday, February 14th. so as not to clash with the West Coast A. and P. Show.
