At the Christchurch tournament on Tuesday in the pairs, Stevenson and Rev. Hayward 23. bent Hcaly (Wainiate) 12 and beat Ward (Sydenham’) 17-15. losing to Haworth 29-9. In the fourth round yesterday Hayward 26 heat Sydenham (-T. Turnbull) 17. N.Z. CHAM PIO NS 111 PS. CHRISTCHURCH. Jan. 18. The New Zealand Bowling Association Annual Tournament was continued to-day in fine weather. The winners in the pairs championships were:-—Rollinson (Opnwn), Pollock (Newton). Chambers (Sumner), Fielding (Hataitai). Smith (St. Alb:,ns). Neill (Dunedin), Blighting (Hataitai). Duff (Island Bay). Clarke (Carlton), Manchester (Wnimate). Two matches are yet undecided. To-morrow the North and South match will be played: also the semifinals of tlie singles. In addition, post sectional plnv in the rinks will he continued, and the remaining section winners in the pairs will he found.
