WOOL SALES. (By Telegraph—Per Press Association.) SYDNEY, Jan. IS. The wool sales were held under excited competition. The market ruled at the best point of the season and very full satisfactory clearances were made, all descriptions sharing in the demand. Greasy merino sold "to 82J pence.
