A business man is now lamentin'! bis precipitate haste in crossing the street before looking to see whether the way was clear. So intent was lie on filling his P*P° that he was brushed aside by a passing lorry and, to his dismay, he dropped his tobacco, which was irretrievably crushed by the back wheels. The lorry driver at first was inclined to be abusive, but when he learnt that it was a packet of Bears’ Tobacco that had been lost be was very sympathetic, for, being a Bears’ smoker, he knew what a delicious Virginian blend it is.
