CRICKET PAYMENTS

(Received this day at 11.15 n.m.) SYDNEY. Jan. 17.

At the monthly meeting of the New South Wales Cricket Association, the question of allowances to players to tour New Zealand was discussed. It was stated the Victorian Association had considered the granting of separate allowances to its players. It was decided to instruct the New South Wales delegates to the Board of Control to take immediate action to prevent a Sltnte Association making separate allowances to individual members of tbe team and to request the Board to consider the increase of its allowance to make it 25s daily while the team was absent from Australia.
