3Y TELECIIArII rIIESS ASSN., COPYRIGHT. TOURNAMENT AND CUP MATCHES WELLINGTON, .Tan. 11. The N.Z. Golf Council met to-day. Air J. B. Ale Ewan intimated that he could not accept the office of Chairman, or remain a member of the Council. Mi- W. E. A. Gill was elected Chairman, and Sir Alexander Roberts, ViceChairman, the vacancy to the Council being filled by the election of Mr W. A. Kiely. The location of tlie Tournament and Kirk-AVindeyer Cup matches was lefi to the Chairman, Capf. Conway, and All A. D. S. Duncan to decide on Monday. As only New South Wales will be represented, the Kirk-Windeyer Cup matches will he played' on Monday, January 30th instead of Tuesday, 31st.
