ARAHFRA SALE YARDS. W. JEFFRIES AND GO.’S REPORT. The first sale of the New Year was - held yesterday at Arahura. There was a moderate attendance of buyers and a somewhat reduced entry. Our yarding comprised 11 fat sheep. 28 fat lambs and .‘lB fat cattle. Competition was not animated though we effected a full clearance at prices from 2s to os per hundred t>olow last sale figures. We sold as follows:—On account of \V. Jamieson 11 fat sheep at 2&s 9d. 28 fat lambs at 275; on account of T. Walsh 2 cows at £‘B 17s 6d, 2 at £9 ]2s Gd. 2 at £8 12s Od. 2 heifers at £9 7s Gd. 2 at £G 17s Gd, 1 bullock at £l2 7s Gd. 1 at £lO 17s Gd. 1 at £9 7s Gd, 2 at £9, 1 cow at £8 1-js; on account of Perry lies. 1 bullock at £l2 12s Gd. 2 at £ll 12s Gd. o at £ll. 3 lieife.s at £8 17s Gd, 3 at £7 12s Gd.
