(Australian & N.Z. Cable Association. NEW WORLD’S RECORD. SAN FRANCISCO, Jan. 7. The Spirit of California in an attempted record endurance flight established a world’s record for sustained flight for that type of plane and the heaviest useful load ever carried bv a heavier than air machine, according to a report filed by the supervisor af Mills Aviation Field. FLIGHT TO AUSTRALIA. SINGAPORE, Jau. 6. The aeroplane Red Rose has arrived. SINGAPORE, Jan. 7. The Red Rose has now completed over 10,000 miles. Lancaster expects to arrive in Australia in a weeks time. He hopes to leave Singapore on Monday.
