TORTURE AND EXECUTION.
IUOA. Xov. 1. The Moscow Press announces the execution of Vladimir and Cyril Prove, sons of a former Moscow millionaire, and Korapnnov who were recently sentenced to death for alleged espionage for Great Britian. The trail, like the previous “spy” trials, was carefully staged, and “confessions” were forced from the prisoners after months of torture in the cells of the Lubianka Prison in Moscow. The Moscow Pravda hints that other espionage trails are boinr* prepared and that the Seviet secret police have other prisoners undergoing torture who are expected to sign similar “confessions.”
