GAS COOKING IS BEST
A remarkable record has been put up at Auckland demonstrating very clearly that gas cooking is best. During 1927 nearly 4.000 gas cookers were installed in Auckland homes, and as there were some thousands previously installed, the cooking term of 1927 may he interpreted as: "(his is Best for Cooking.” Gas in the home is now regarded as an essential for all well regulated establishments. Its great convenience, not only in emergency when heat is required promptly, hut also in the daily round of household duties, is now being generally appreciated, and there is a steady demand for the introduction of the gas service. It is the best and most economical service lor many daily duties. It is indispensable for washing, and is becoming paramount for cooking.
