DY TELEGRAPH —PRESS ASSN., COPYRIGHT. AUCKLAND. Dec. 31. The Auckland Trotting Club’s Summer Afeeting concluded at Alexandra Park to-day. The weather was glorij ous, and there was a large attendance, of people. The totalisator receipts for the day were £70,126 10s as compared with £56,196 10s for 1926, an increase of £13,930. The totalisator receipts for the whole meeting showed an increase of £17,131, the figures being £208,194 and £191,063 for the 1927 and 1926 meetings respectively. Results:—
Tainaki Handicap.—(4) Raima 1, (2) Dolores 2, Nelson Boy 3. Dolores, wlio finished a head in front of Raima, broke on the post and the committee reversed the platings. Three lengths between second and third. Time 3.35.
Park Handicap.—(l) Padlock 1, (6) Dillon Huon 2, (7) Van Rich 3. Won by two lengths; with three lengths between second and third. Time 3.21 1-5.
