WEDDING BELLS
On Tuesday, Dec. 27th. at Knox Church. Christchurch, a very pretty nodding was solemnized, the oontrncliUiX parties being (trace Al. Aitken and R. Wyndliam Alaxw-ell, The church was prettily decorated with Xmas lilies and to the strains of the wedding march, the* hritle entered the church on the arm of her lather. .She was charmingly gowned in a frock of white georgette and Brussels hue and carried a bouquet of pink and white rows and maiden-hair fern. Slit* was attended l-.y Biss Jessie Davidson who wore a dainty frock of cyclamen georgette with lloimee of Hr.ml niiwm. Mr George Aitken performed the duties of best man. After the ceremony the guests were entertained at the AVintor Gardens where they were received by Mrs Aitkt ii. who wore a navy crepe de diene frock with a fox fur and carried a bouquet id' scarlet roses. In the evening Mr and Airs ATaxwell left by car for the AVest Coast via. Kaikoura and Nelson, the bride wearing a jade georgette frock, a beige charmahiine coat and ribbon hat to match.
