Tine Fate Of Trotsky. After a prolonged struggle with the Soviet hierarchy, of which Stalin is the figurehead. Trotsky lias been finally expelled from the parly by the Russian Communist Congress. No doubt there arc still men of conspicuous ability among the jlolshevik leaders, but Trotsky’s place will be hard to fill. As the colleague of Lenin when the dictatorship of the proletariat was first set up, Trotsky has secured for himself some portion of the almost legendary prestige already associated with Lenin’s name. A man of immense energy and great courage, and a horn organiser, Trotsky has rendered invaluable service to the Rolshevik cause, especially on the military and diplomatic sides. —Exchange.
