FELL FROM GIRDER IN MID-AIR. A man, who was standing on a girder being, lifted by a crane, was slowiy rising past tbe fifth story, when Inlaid the misfortune, while changing Imposition, to drop his tobacco. It fell on to the girder, and in stooping to pick it up. he accidently knocked it to the street below. To his chagrin, he saw somebody walk away with it. r ' would not have mattered much, it it had not been the popular Bears’ Smoking Tobacco—sold everywhere loose for Bd. an ounce, and in handy packets, loz.
