N The Niagara wirelessed she picked V* up eleven of the crew ot the schooner Doris Crane, destroyed by tire en route from Fanning Island to San Francisco with a load of copra. One man perished in the flames. NAVY FATALITY. NEW YORK. Dee. 20. At San Dirjgo one man was killed and fourteen injured, four seriously, in an explosion and fire aboard the United States aircraft carrier Langley. A gasolene leak was responsible for the disaster.
