TROTTING SENSATION

Peterwnh. a prominent candidate lor the Auckland Trotting Cup on Tuesday, disappeared about nine last night from the racing stables at Bosom. It is not known how the stallion regained his freedom. When the discovery was made, the city and suburbs wore scoured unsuccessfully by men in motor ears, and on cycles. Neighbours state that soon after nine they heard a horse galloping along the street in front of a. motor ear. HORSE LOCATED. AUCKLAND, Dec. 21. The trotter Poterwah was found uninjured this morning on the road at Port Chevalier, four miles trom h;s stable.
