After a lengthy hearing, Afr Cruickshank, S.AI. said: “There is no que-tion but that anyone who likes can practice medicine. No one who has the power or skill to help suffering mankind should ho prohibited from practising bis skill. An unregistered man is quite recognised and lias a legal status." The Alagistrate said that the word “professor” has so deteriorated in meaning that it could even he applied to a man who trained dogs. Any man who put an advertisement on his door like that displayed in the Court by the defence could not be taken for a doctor. The case was dismissed. Counsel was allowed the right to appeal.
