In further explanation of the Nationalist. break with Russia, Doctor Mu, Nationalist Minister of Foreign Affairs, declares oflicially that action was taken reluctantly and solely in self defence. He denies hostility to tf 10 Russians towards whom he has the warmest sympathy. 'flic action must not he construed to constitute n severance of |x>!itical and commercial re- ' lations as Russian trade is too extensive and methods must he- devised to continue it. A search warrant on Soviet commercial agencies houses and Soviet Consulates has been granted by the International Sctt/eSjent Police and ten Soviet commercial agencies organisations have been closed and guarded. The police have ordered them to win I up their affairs and evacuate.
