The death took place yesterday at Westland Hospital of an old Chinaman, Bung Tuck, well known throughout the AVest Coast. He was associated with yl.. the late Kt - Hon - ,T - Seddon in the / ■ celebrated “ Bung ’luck ” claim at Kumara in the early nineties. The deceased had been living in Hokitika for the last thirty years, and was a well-known local figure. He was about 83 years of age.
