There is a special display of Chris - mas Gifts and Toys at Mclntosh s fancy goods display in the enlarged premises adjoining Princess Theatre. I resents for old and young alike are obtainable at reasonable prices. JTho display offers plenty of variety m choice for gifts and toys at all prices. The death took place yesterday at Westland Hospital of an old Chinaman, Bung Tuck, well known throughout the AVest Coast. He was associated with yl.. the late Kt - Hon - ,T - Seddon in the / ■ celebrated “ Bung ’luck ” claim at Kumara in the early nineties. The deceased had been living in Hokitika for the last thirty years, and was a well-known local figure. He was about 83 years of age.
